Joshua Simmons
Pre-Licensed Professional, MS
I work with clients who may be experiencing anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, emotional challenges, relationship concerns, or difficulty navigating life transitions. I strive to create a safe, welcoming environment where clients feel comfortable being open and expressing themselves without judgment. Through active listening, empathy, and individualized treatment, I help clients identify their strengths, develop healthy coping skills, and move toward meaningful personal growth.
My primary approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), helping clients understand the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I tailor therapy to each client's needs and may incorporate other evidence-based approaches when appropriate. My goal is to provide practical tools that support emotional growth, coping, and positive change.
I believe everyone deserves to feel heard, respected, and understood. I approach each client with empathy, active listening, and a nonjudgmental attitude, creating space for honest communication. I have a strong passion for learning about people and helping them become their best version, while continuing my education to provide thoughtful, effect care.
